I am a clinician who has experience working with children, teens, and adults. I have been in the field for almost 10 years now. I obtained a Masters degree in Multicultural Counseling and a Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a passion for having intentional conversations with people and helping them get to a place of hope and possibility. I am an empathic listener and I welcome people to come as they are.
Sometimes we can get lost in unhelpful narratives about ourselves and we continue to play out what feels like a familiar role. Through my intentional questions, I lead my clients to the ocean of possibility where they get in touch with other neglected and more helpful stories about themselves. My questions encourage you to reflect on the perceived problem and possible solutions. I am trained in trauma focused counseling and one of my specialties is working with survivors of sexual violence.
